1 year baby with Sensorineural hearing loss

My son has been diagnosed with SNHL since birth and is in the process of having his assesment for cochlear implant. I have been told that there are ayurvedic or similar alternative treatment can be helpful to treat this type of disorder but I am not sure that I believe that this type of treatment can cure this type of hearing loss. Please can you advise if you have ever experienced any patients with SNHL that have been cured by this treatment.
