Allergy from Milk

Your seven-year-old child is probably suffering from Lactose intolerance, and due to his medical history of jaundice and liver complaint, he may be suffering from lactose intolerance where the condition when enzymatic disturbances takes place in small intestine, and for them decreasing or skipping milk and milk products in diet is very helpful. Though your child is not able to consume milk and milk products, however, there is some cutoff levels of consumption, and you can try giving smaller quantities and see if there is any kind of allergies of stomach or bowels or try consuming easily digestible milk products such as buttermilk, yogurt, goat’s milk with essential amino acids supplements and vitamins. There is availability of lactose free milk or lactase-treated cow’s milk, soy formula is also helpful and meanwhile see the shortage levels of calcium, vitamin D, protein, or riboflavin and compensate that from other sources like green leafy vegetables, broccoli, canned salmon, oysters etc., consumption of orange juice is helpful. You can give some important medicines to maintain bone strength such as Ashtiposhak, Lakshadi Guggulu which are helpful for internal usage.
