Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Amblyopia is due to a problem with the central vision with different power in both eyes. But a power difference more than 2D is a concern. Also developing a habit of eating eye healthy foods and eye exercise will help to improve the vision. Moderate Myopia can also be controlled with medicines and eye exercise. It is due to a difficulty in focussing the light rays and it is also caused by heredity. The power stabilises in some during the teen ages.

Divya MahaTriphala Ghrit can be taken for 3months and then reviewed.

You can support her to do eye exercises by closing one eye so that both will be exercised separately. Eye exercises like opening, closing, nose gazing, rotating the eyeballs, looking near and far objects are beneficial. Try to cover her eyes in the front and ask her to see your fingers through the sides and ask her to focus on her thumb nail and move it in all directions to improve the vision. Proper exercises will help to prevent squint in both eyes.

Include spinach, broccoli, gooseberry, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, curry leaf, red bell peppers, carrots and oranges. Outdoor physical activity is also good. Help her avoid continuous eyestrain and to have good sleep.

Please do regular checkups and follow the advise of your doctor.
