asked by binod on 8 August 2010 2:35

sir,my fried, aged 26, female kept having problems of diarrhoea and constipation succesively and consulted an allopathic doctor.she also put on a lot of weight and complained of tiredness and trouble waking up in the mornings. on testing her tsh was found to be 9.33 and free t4 6.58. doctor prescribed thronorm 50 mcg and this seemed to make her feel much better, but after three months she has the same symptoms again. her anti microsomal antibody shows over 1000 and ATG 69.08. the doctor now says that she check the tsh again and increase the thyonorm. he also said that this would be a life long medication as the thyroid was getting affected very fast. is there not some permanent cure for it? what affects this? what can control this further? please help!!.

Hello,

As your friend is having multiple complaints where proper concern is needed. To list them, they are diarrhoea and constipation, thyroid issue, weight issues. Overall, she is having a hormonal imbalance which is of high concern.

To reduce weight and regularize thyroid levels, she need to depend on allopath medicines whenever necessary, and meanwhile to gain proper results, she can depend on Indian medicines which are safer and helps to balance the hormones, and to prevent the progress of the disease.

However, there will be changes in appetite. That should be rectified by following proper diet which is balanced. To reduce weight she need to care about food which should be consumed periodically and minimally by consuming proper breakfast and reducing the quantity of supper.

Heavy foods for digestion should be avoided and oily foods should be avoided. Consume light foods for digestion and include fiber-rich foods like vegetables, cereals, green leafy vegetables.

To reduce the intensity of the complaints you can consume ayurvedic medicines which i am going to suggest: You can use Divya Kanchanar Guggulu for thyroid complaint. Divya Loki Juice can be consumed at empty stomach with honey is useful. Ayurslim are useful for this complaint to reduce fats along with Divya Medohar Vati.

If yoga and pranayama are possible, you can do it under supervision.

For more details, you can contact us.

With regards, Dr.Vijay.
