Hello sir, Though there are many contraindications for medications, you can depend on some alternative therapies and diet for your pregnant wife. Avoid hot and spicy food and other foodstuffs that can aggravate bodily gas like cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, okra, potatoes etc. These food items may cause aggravation of Vata in body. It is advised that stuffs like coffee, tea, sugar, yoghurt to be taken in minimum quantity. The best foodstuffs to consume to achieve purification are: Fruit Juices, homemade soups, fresh fruit, green salads and cooked vegetables like pumpkin and squash. Herbs and spices to use in the Ayurvedic cure for arthritis such as cumin, ginger, asafetida, fennel, coriander, fennel, turmeric, garlic etc are useful. These can be used in cooking food preparations. Other herbal remedies are Guggul preparations with minimum dosage. Light exercise. Regular intake of orange juice or other vitamin C based beverage, as the goodness of the vitamins helps combat skeletal pain. Regular body massages with medicated oils such as Divya Pidantak tailaare useful. Some suggested medications for your pregnant wife. Dashamoolarishtam is good and safer for pregnant ladies.
