Ayurvedic treatment for Balantidiasis 
One of my friend is suffering from Balantidiasis, is there any herbal remedy for the same? Please suggest diet.

Expert's Advice:- Hello, Balantidiasis is an infectious caused by protozoan called Balantidium coli that infects digestive tract. Usually, it is asymptomatic, but few symptoms are diarrhea with bloody stools and mucus and colitis. This disease is transmitted primarily by eating food or drinking water which is contaminated by animal or human feces that containing B. coli cysts. In order to prevent the disease, one should maintain hygiene, proper food handling, careful bowel and bladder hygiene. There are ayurvedic medicines, and other system of medicines that are helpful to prevent this disorder. Consuming Kudajaristham is useful medicine if consumed 30 ml twice daily. Consume boiled-cooled water regularly. You can use Bilwadi Choorna to be consumed with lukewarm water. Wash vegetables and leafy vegetables properly. For more details, you can contact us.
