Hello,

Convulsions are a kind of muscle contractions and relaxing rapidly and repeatedly and showing symptoms of body shaking and which is uncontrollable. Even it is considered as seizure attack or mild symptoms of seizures can be considered as convulsions.

As the involvement of central nervous system in convulsions, the management with alternative therapies are limited and moreover, your child is 2 years, proper care should be taken.

You can start providing him green leafy vegetables, milk, peanuts, fruits, vegetables, apples, oranges, pears, etc are very helpful as per his wish.

Ayurveda herbal medicines such as sarswatha, shankapushpa, aswagandha, jatamansi, bramhi are very helpful. So you can start giving ayurveda medicines which contain the above mentioned herbal medicines.

As of now, you can provide him “Balasarvanagam” (Santhigiri Product) which is safer and meant for children and ghee preparation can be given like PanchaGavya Gritham which is very helpful.

Apart from this, he can undergo a course of panchakarma treatments like shirodhara which is very helpful.

However, you can continue giving ayurvedic medicines as there is no side effects along with allopath medicines.

For more doubts, you can contact us.

With regards,

Dr.Vijay.
