Digestion problem this question feed

Hi i have this problem of going to the toilet min of 3 times in the morning and even then sometine dont feel as i have had complete bowel .sometimes i have to go immediately after food also i ahve a urgency to go and cannot hold my stools . Plz prescribe medicine and advice how to solve this problem

Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-


The problem which you are facing is something related to poor digestion and poor eating habits. As you mentioned, usually after having food, you may feel sensation of bowel evacuation and that is especially because of mass peristaltic movements in large intestines. This shows poor performance of intestines as well in terms of digestion, absorption, assimilation, excretion etc. So, by considering all these factors, you need to focus on good eating habits. It starts from chewing the food properly in oral cavity and not speaking while having food, and not drinking much water while eating food are important and if you feel like having water, after 10 minutes you can have warm water, this will promote proper digestion at stomach level and later on other steps of digestion will takes place properly.

Try to develop eating food in time and avoid heavy food in night times, and to enhance digestion you can do physical exercises too which is very important. You can start having fresh butter milk by adding curry leaves in it and even you can start having pomegranate as important fruit. Night time prefer normal vegetables and even soups.

Following medicines are indicated in your case such as Package Medicine that contains multiple medicines that promotes easy digestion and lessens the flatulence and even these medicines are helpful to prevent other problems like irritable bowel syndrome. You can mix all medicines and have one teaspoon with butter milk daily once or twice.

You can do regular exercises, and other activities without an hesitation and slowly your gastrointestinal system will come into normal status. Yoga includes SuryaNamaskara, Sarvangasana, Trikonasana, Uttanapadahasthasana, Pranayama are helpful.

Reduce heavy food intake and oily foods that may slowdown your digestion.

The inability to digest and hold the food is known as Grahani in Ayurveda. Proper Agni is necessary for good digestion and an imbalance will cause symptoms like frequent bowel movements with reduced metabolism. It can be related to irritable bowel syndrome. Ayurvedic medicines will help to strengthen the agni and for a better metabolism.

Ayurvedic medicines like Kalasakadi kasayam - 15ml with 60ml warm water before food twice daily and Apakva Ama Indigestion Ayurvedic treatment can be taken for a month and then reviewed.

Eat easily digestable cooked warm food. Include curry leaf, buttermilk, asafoetida, rice gruel and mung dal. Reduce excessive intake of potatoes, dal, cabbage and excessive spices. Reduce excess salt, sugar and oil. Practise Yogasanas like Sukhasana, Trikonasana, Paschimottasana, Pavanamuktasana, Padmasana, Savasana and Vajrasana which are beneficial.
