Femur Fracture 8 Months back/Delay in bone growth this question feed

lasha, 21 October 2010 18:39

Respected Guruji,

Self had met with an accident and got femur fracture on my right leg. Rod has been given during the operation. This was happened 9 months before. Unfortunately there is severe delay in the bone growth and the gap portion is very obvious in the x-ray. Doctor says bone has just started to grow. I suffer from severe pain whenever I put pressure while walk. Though I am able to walk, it is still with limbs. Please help me and suggest herbal treatment for the same.

Thank you

Yours Sincerely LalithaChandrasekar

Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Hello,

As there is history of fracture in your and undergone surgery for the same and you complain that you have delay in bone growth.

There are many methods to improve proper strength and stability of bones and there are good changes to improve the condition. If there is any kind of nutritional imbalances, bone union may be delayed.

Following balanced diet and consuming nutritious food items.

You can consume Lakshadi Guggulu for promoting growth of bone and Singhnad guggulu for pain. You can consume these medicines one tablet twice daily after breakfast and dinner. Trayodahang Guggulu is also good medicine.

There are ayurveda Panchakarma treatments that help to maintain stability of bones.

Avoid oily foods and spicy foods.

You can consume garlic boiled in milk that helps to prevent pain symptoms.
