Fibroid in the uterus

An uterine fibroid is the most common benign (not cancerous) tumor of a woman's uterus. Fibroids develop with the uterine wall or attach to it. They may grow as a single tumor or in clusters. Uterine fibroids can cause excessive menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and frequent urination.

There are few alternative therapies which may help to reduce the intensity and progress of growths and curative approach.

There are few Yogasanas and pranayama which can be done under supervision.

Bharadvajasana. Janu Sirsasana.

Salamba Sethu Bandha Sarvangasana (Supported Bridge Pose). Supta Virasana (Supine Hero Pose). Supta Baddha Konasana (Supine Bound Angle Pose).

Gentle Kapalabhatti (Skull Cleansing). Ujjayi (Ocean Breath). Anuloma-Viloma (Alternate Nostril Breathing).

Follow strict diet, avoid spices and oily fried food items.

There are many medicinal preparations to control uterine fibroids. Main medicines which are acting like uterine tonics are Kumari, Shud Guggulu, Neem, Ashok, Manjistha. They may be used in different form.

Kumaryasavam is good for this condition.
