hello sir,

Gallstones most commonly affect people those who have irregular food habits and those who suffer from hyperacidity for long time and associated with high blood cholesterol levels. Women with multiple pregnancies are also at increased risk and frequency is more in women. Most of obese people may also suffer from gallstones.

Symptoms like intense and very sudden throbbing pain in the upper-right portion and there will be radiating pain in right shoulder and scapula. Other symptoms are like indigestion, nausea, vomiting, and diminished appetite. In chronic condition, there will be fever, and jaundice.

It is diagnosed and confirmed by ultrasonography.

Diet:

In Ayurveda it is believed that due to excess pitta gall stones are produced. Hence, to pacify pitta nature in the body one should consume grape juice adding 10 drops of lemon and olive oil and consumed in before food.

Fibre rich food is good to control or prevent gallstones. They include fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, yogurt. Apple juice is beneficial. Olive oil is found effective.

Dairy products, fried and fatty or oily foods to be avoided. Domestic sugar increase the risk of gallstone formation. Avoid coffee in excess.

Regular exercises and swimming also help to prevent the formation of gallstones.

Yoga and pranayama are help to regularize the gallbladder function.

Suggested medicines: Yashtimadhu, Godhan-ark, Divya-Punarnavarisht, and Drakshadi Kashayam are helpful for the gallstone prevention.

Since you have gall stone complaint, try to get treated for gallstones. If you are taking in proper dosage of shilajit, there is no issue with blood pressure.

With regards, Dr.Vijay.
