Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-
Your mother is 43 and is seen to suffer from severe knee pain while walking and doing work. There is no pain while pressing the joint. Probably, it could be a beginning of osteoarthritis. Anyway, further investigation is very important in this case.
Here, it is not practical to prescribe you medicine as the condition should be inspected carefully to see if there is inflammation deep inside. This can happen if the synovial fluid level is getting lower.
I would strongly recommend you to consult a nearby ayurvedic physician and get the condition properly diagnosed and start treatment.

Pain in the ankle or knee is treated based on the clinical symptoms. Please let me know the level of uric acid to understand it. Usually the uric acid will be higher, but sometimes in acute conditions it may not be seen. Other investigations like fluid aspiration or Xrays will be taken to know it better. It is better to have your uric acid level less than 7mg/dl.
