Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Weakness in the knees is caused commonly due to arthritis, infections, injury or as a secondary problem. Please let me know the investigation reports to guide you further. Ayurvedic medicines and treatments helps to improve the function of the joint. Kapha dosha is the seat of joint and hence lifestyle that balances kapha will be beneficial. Treatments like janu vasti where the oil will stand on the knees for 40minutes will beneficial to increase kapha dosha.

Ayurvedic medicines like Divya Dashmool kvath and Ksheera bala capsules - one capsule at bedtime with warm water can be taken for a month and then reviewed. Divya Pidantak Tailam can be applied externally.

Include nuts, olive oil, coriander, garlic, flax seeds, turmeric, ginger, sesame seeds and cumin. Reduce excessive pungent, bitter foods, carbonated beverages, canned foods, cold or refrigerated, dry, spicy foods, oil and salt. Other Ayurvedic treatments like oil massage, leaf poultice, streaming oil and rice poultice will be beneficial to strengthen the knees.
