Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Hepatitis B is a contagious disease caused by hepatitis B virus which commonly spreads through the blood or body fluids. It responds very well when treated in the initial stage. As with your concern, you can get treated and then check your viral load to understand the stage. When the HBeAg becomes negative, it shows an inactive and will not be very infective, but still can spread. So it is necessary to vaccinate your partner or use condoms. It is also necessary to vaccinate the kids within 12hrs to prevent the hepatitis B infection. It is advisable to check the basic tests like liver enzymes, ALT, AST, alphafetoprotein and other imaging tests.

Package for Hepatatitis can be taken for a month and then reviewed.

Eat healthy cooked warm foods and it is better to avoid meat to ease the digestion. Include cumin, cucumber, radish leaves, bottle gourd, rice, tomatoes, buttermilk, pepper, coriander, turmeric and asafoetida. Reduce excess canned foods, oil, sweet, raw salads and salt. Try not to share personal things like razor to avoid infecting others. Please do regular checkups and let me know your latest blood tests to guide you further.

Hello,

As you are in positive stage of viral hepatitis B, there nothing to do in bringing in to negative state. However, if you are carrier state, there will be not be hazardous situation. In order to enhance proper liver functioning, you can depend on alternative therapies such as ayurveda medicines, homeopathy, siddha, and other system of medicines along with yoga and meditation.

You need to follow diet and avoid certain food items wherever necessary such as oily foods, Non-vegetarian food, icecreams, spicy foods, Cakes or pastries or candies, sugar based drinks etc.

Take adequate rest, avoid excessive heat, and stress. Avoid excessive physical exertions.

Try to consume Green leafy vegetables, Dry fruits like dried dates, almonds and cardamom etc, lemon.

Aloevera Juice. Amla juice, and Solanum Nigrum are useful.

Yoga and pranayama: Anuloma-Viloma pranayama. Matsya asana, suryanamaskara are beneficial.

Suggested medications: Cytozen, Package-for-Hepatitis, are useful for your complaint and in order to maintain liver function. Liv 52,
