Please let me know the type of hepatitis to guide you further. If the reports are normal, you can take medicines to strengthen the liver. You must do regular checkups as advised. Hepatitis A and E are spread through contaminated food and water and Hepatitis B, C and D are spread through parenteral contact with body fluids. So please maintain proper hygienic measures to prevent the spread of hepatitis.

Package for Hepatatitis can be taken for a month and then reviewed.

Include garlic, ginger, radish leaves, coriander, bottle gourd, buttermilk, coriander, turmeric and asafoetida. Reduce excess canned foods, spicy foods, fried foods, meat, refrigerated foods, sugar, raw salads and salt. Regular exercise, yogasanas and meditation will be beneficial for a better physical and mental health.

As you are suffering from hepatitis and you are under medicines. It is good to hear that you do not have any liver abnormalities. However, you concern is regarding intercourse. If you are in carrier stage, there may be possibility of spreading infection to your partner and pregnant women can pass the virus to the newborn. So, it is up to you to decide whether to proceed to have kids or not. It is clearly understood that Hepatitis B can be transmitted through unprotected intercourse without the use of a condom, sharing any personal injecting equipment or tattoo and body piercing equipment. A woman who is a carrier may pass the infection to her baby during childbirth.

With regards,

Dr. Vijay.
