Herbal medicines for skin disorders Skin disorders usually occur due to internal and external factors. Internal factors include any underlying diseases, nutritional deficiencies, infections, allergies, and stress etc., leading to psoriasis, eczema, etc. External factors like pollution and due to UV rays from sun, there may be abnormal pigmentation over skin causing pigmentation disorders After identifying root cause, necessary treatment should be given accordingly. Avoid causative factors that may aggravate the problem such as oily foods, stress and unctuous foods. Consuming liquids for maintaining proper hydration, and include supplements such as omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A rich food items like mango, sweet potato, carrot etc, and zinc containing food items like peanuts, and fresh fruit juices are recommended. Divya Kayakalp vati, and Divya Mahamanjishtharistha and Divya Kadirarishtam are recommended. Consuming Triphala Churna is also useful. Haridrakhand is useful for preventing allergies and other skin complaints like Urticaria etc. Haridra useful for preventing skin related infections. Manjishtha is good for skin. Neem is also useful herb for curing skin disorders. The above mentioned medicines are recommended for skin complaints and can be used on as-needed-basis.
