High blood pressure with gastritis this question feed

Chandanshyamal, 7 December 2017 20:29

Hello Doctor,

My father is 59 years of age. He has high BP since 12 years and has been taking allopathic medicine daily. But recently his blood pressure always stays at 160/110. He doesn't have any other health disorders. Blood sugar and creatinine are in normal range. But for 2-3 months he has been complaining of gastric issues. Could you please advice something for reducing his blood pressure and gastric issues. Is gastric issues preventing the blood pressure to lower. Kindly, guide me.

Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Divya Mukta Vati can be given as 2tablets twice daily after food for a week and then review. The dosage must be adjusted based on the blood pressure reading. Please do have regular checkups. Sooktyn for Hyperacidity can be taken for gastritis. Gastritis is not a known cause for high blood pressure. But both are commonly seen in obese individuals. Stress increases the blood pressure and any physical pain triggers the stress. So treating gastritis will be beneficial for a better health.
Include figs, artichokes, berries, grapes, horsegram, green tea, cabbage, cinnamon, garlic, ginger, turmeric, drumstick, fenugreek, bittergourd, plantain stem and celery.
