Expert's Advice:- Home foods for diabetes: There are many herbal foods, those are available in kitchen which is very helpful to prevent diabetes. Mainly turmeric and triphala churnam is found effective combination, six pinches of turmeric powder and 1 tsp of triphala churnam along with honey is very useful. Methi(fenugreek seeds) is also useful to be consumed to reduce diabetes condition and cholesterol interrelated with diabetes. There are fruits such as grapes, apple, peaches, lime etc. Fiber-rich diet is important where you can use cereals, barley, dry fruits, and nuts, etc. Try to consume non-fatty or skimmed milk products. Fresh butter milk is very good to cure diabetes if consume with methi powder (fenugreek seeds). Consume vegetables such as garlic, onion, bitter gourd, curry leaves, etc which are helpful. Barley powder 100 gm, Besan or Gram floor 100 gm, Ajwain 5 gm, Black pepper powder 5 gm, Saindhava Lavanam 1 gm. Prepare dough with the above ingredients with the help of water and prepare Roti with very little ghee or without ghee. For more details, you can contact us.
