Home remedies for sore throat

Sore throat do occur due to many reasons like long term exposure to cold climates, or even food infections. There may be infection and tonsillitis also. This may occur due to viral infections like fever or cold, flu etc and even due to bacterial infections and other ailments like tonsillitis as mentioned, sinusitis, etc. There are many home remedies for temporary relief , however, you can consult a physician as needed basis. Home remedies: • Fenugreek seeds gargles are helpful.

• Salt and turmeric powder in equal quantities to be mixed in lukewarm water and used as gargles are very helpful.

• Mango bark made in to dried powder and boiled in water and can be used as gargles is very helpful remedy.

• Epsom salt gargles is also very helpful.

• The decoction of holy basil leaves by adding turmeric powder is also helpful for gargling.

• Even decoction of holy basil and black pepper seeds, dry ginger and tea powder to be made as decoction can be consumed internally.

• Cinnamon is also good home remedy for sore throat if take with boiled water as a gargle by adding black pepper powder 5 pinches in it.
