Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Dry eyes is a common problem that makes it difficult to concentrate for long hours in computer and also causes symptoms like redness, excess tearing followed by dryness, gritty feeling in the eyes, burning sensation. If left untreated, the increased dryness causes inflammation of the surface of the eye or lacrimal glands. So please consult an ophthalmologist to know the cause. Excess dryness is caused when the tears are produced insufficiently or it evaporates quickly due to the consistency. Any power less than -3 is mild myopia and please let me know the reports to guide you further.

Itone contains plash, apamarga, punarnava, yashada bhasmam, tankana, alum, tutha bhasmam and satva pudina. It is beneficial for conjunctivitis with burning and itching, eye strain and also helps to increases the tears. But you have to know the cause and based on that it can be used.

Ayurvedic medicines like Divya MahaTriphala Ghrit, Saptamrit Lauh are beneficial for the eyes.

Try to include cucumber, gooseberry, pumpkin, spinach, broccoli, bell peppers, brussel sprouts, carrots. Protect the eyes from dust and excessive sunlight. Wear proper glasses and avoid places with too much of dry air.
