Intestinal common worms 
I am around 60 and fond of sweets. It seems I have a problem of intestinal worms which irritates my rectum, though occasionally. I have no more than 2/3 small toffees and one Rasgulla without the syrup - every day. Can you suggest a remedy without asking me to give up this small indulgent habit. Tks, sincerely, Swarup Majumdar

Hello, If you suspect worm infestation, there are many methods to get treated for the same. Usually you need to follow hygienic measures as many infestations do occur through food and water, flies, even sexual contact, or even through nasal secretions and skin. There are many types like round worms, pin worms, whip worms, thread worms, hook worms depending on the shape, and symptoms would be itching in anus, skind conditions like round lesion, or whitish spots, worms in stool, altered appetite, fever, vomiting, foul breath headaches, bowel irregularities etc. One should follow proper hygienic measures and avoid causative factors, always try to consume boiled-cooled water. There are certain Herbal medicines such as Nagarmotha, Vidanga, etc. which are used in the form of medicines. Avoid consuming excess sweets, and reduce the quantity of food at night times. Following medicines are helpful for your condition such as Krumighna Kashaya and Neem Capsules should be consumed daily. For weekly usage, you may need to use Avipattikar Choorna internally 10gm weekly with lukewarm water. Even you can use Triphala Churna daily one teaspoon with lukewarm water. Hello Doctor, I hav been taking the Shivlingi and putra jivak seeds in powedered form along with milk as medicine for pregnancy related issues. Are these seeds effective in helping to get pregnant?
