Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Acute pain due to the stones can be managed with pain killers or anti-inflammatory medicines as advised by your treating physician. The intensity of the pain will be based on the position, size and damage to the tissues.

Stones less than 5mm are managed with medicines, but stones of bigger size are treated based on the symptoms. Stones of bigger size cause blockage leading to complications.

Please discuss with the doctor who will be able to guide you better with the investigations. Ayurvedic medicines like Varunadi Kvath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily and [Nil stone]( can be given for a month and then reviewed.

Include ginger, garlic, plantain stem, horse gram, turmeric and cinnamon. Reduce excess fried foods, salt, canned foods and sugar. Give him enough water to drink. Please do have the regular checkups as advised by your treating physician.
