Kidney Disease this question feed

asked by KiranT_2010 on 11 October 2010 13:14

Hello Sir,

My father (age 63) is suffering from chronic kidney disease. We came to know about it before 7 months only. But after investigation we come to know that he is suffering from it since 2004.

His creatinine level in 2004 was 2 and in March 2010 it was 7.

Then after we immediately started Ramdev Babaji medicines. Now from March 2010 to till date his creatinine level is constant and varies between 5.5 to 6 and urea level 90-110.

What should I conclude from this? What should I do going forward? Please suggest.

Thanks, Kiran

Hello,

As your father is suffering from chronic kidney disease, it is advised that proper monitoring is necessary from allopath medicine point of view to see his blood levels urea, and creatinine etc.

Ayurvedic medicines, and other system of medicines and alternative therapies will help to prevent further deterioration of kidney function.

Along with these medicines, one should follow diet which is important such as consuming food items with minimum salt, high calories food, and low in protein. Avoid potassium content foods.
