My mother is 59 yrs old. she had pneumonia & underwent for treatment for 15 days. after two months she fall in to sick (fever, vamit, nausia) we had checked with doctor & has confirmed she has proteinuria, urine bladder thick & grade 1 nephrology. Being a poor family we are worrying on her future. Since doctor advised her to not take fruit & some vegtables. if it we stop consuming this she will become weak day by day. Latest creatinine is 1.4 & blood urea is 69. one more thing is her right kidney is shrunken. Kindly advise us how to keep her healty & fit without increasing this disease. Note: doctor strictly advised not consume any ayurveda medicine. Krupa karke app mere mataji ko punarjanam dijiye.

Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Please let me know all the investigation reports to guide you further. Medicines or dialysis will be advised based on your blood reports. It is necessary to have frequent visits to adjust the medicines and the dosage as the patient is more than 90yrs old. Elderly patients may become unstable while being treated. So they must be monitored closely with care.

Medicines like Punarnavadi kwath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food, Chandra prabha - 2tablets twice daily after food with warm water and Nephromed for Kidney Disorders - one tablet after food twice daily can be taken for a month and then reviewed.

Good support from the family, regular intake of medicines with regular checkups with the sugar level or blood pressure will support for a better recovery.

Diet will be advised based on the blood reports. Include turmeric, berries, cumin and coriander which will be beneficial. Reduce excess bananas, mushrooms, asparagus, peas, nuts, beans, byeast and avocados. Please do have regular checkups as advised by your treating physician.

It is better to follow allopath advice if they have diagnosed as any kidney failure or nephropathy.
