My Six year old son has been suffered from mascular distrophy. We have know about the desease since three months ago. I have lost the hope for him.please suggest me any treatment in ayurved.

Hello, There are many types of muscular dystrophies which are inherited in nature. Muscular dystrophy in your child may caused due to defective gene for a protein called dystrophin in the muscles. Since, it is genetic disorder, the treatment approach is more of symptomatic and to prevent the intensity of deterioration. Depending up on age, gender, the treatment prognosis is differed. As the treatment goal is symptomatic and preventive, you can depend on ayurvedic medicines and treatments along with other system of medicines such as siddha, homeopathy and yoga and pranayama. However, proper balanced nutrition and supplements is necessary according to condition. Essential fatty acids, and other minerals should be supplemented which are helpful for synthesis.
