sir Im 28 years female suffering from menstrual migraine from past 3 years.Initially i don't have any menstrual problems but this attacked me 3 years ago.I will get my periods regularly and im using English medicines from last 2 years.starting in medicine i got control of headache but if i stop tablets it is coming again,but now even tablets are not working on my migraine.I also used homeopathy treatment but no use.I will get migraine just 1 day before period and it remains during(2,3,4,5 days of period) and after periods till 7-10 days some times more than 15 days.Life became hell could not sleep or work.early morning when i get up i will get up with no migraine or mild migraine but just after few minutes it increases,im trying to sleep more but my sleep is not able to control it.Now im not able to bear even little sounds it making me irritated.I dont have any other problems and my periods are regular.

Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Menstrual migraine is the occurrence of migraine headache with every periods. The symptoms are considered due to the change in the level of oestrogen before the periods. Therefore foods and medicines rich in oestrogen can be tried to notice some change. Taking frequent meals with intervals also help to maintain the constant energy levels and reduce the headache.

Ayurvedic medicines like Varunadi Kvath- 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Cephagraine Tablets, Divya Shatavari choorna can be taken for a month and then reviewed.

Nasyam with Anu thailam can be done regularly which will help to reduce the headache.

Include berries, dates, pumpkins, sunflower seeds, nuts, broccoli and sesame seeds. Reduce cheese, chocolates, salt, sugar, pickles and fried foods. Yogasanas like janusirsasana, paschimottasana, balasana, halasana, adomukhasvanasana and matsyendrasana will be beneficial along with pranayamam.
