As you may aware that the disease mentioned by you is the disease related to nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement where there may be partial or complete damage of the nerve cells and this disease is also called as Lou Gehrig's disease.

This disease may eventually lead to muscle weakening, and loss of movements, twitching. This condition may get worse. Often, it may case chest discomfort as the muscles in the chest area stop working, it becomes hard or impossible to breathe.

Other symptoms include difficulty in swallowing, head drop due to spinal weakness and weakness in muscles, some times paralysis, speech difficulty, hoarseness of voice.

Though symptomatic relief do occur with the help of ayurvedic medicines, ayurveda Panchakarma treatments do help for improvement and to prevent the progress of the disease.

Few suggested medicines: Multiple Sclerosis Medicine Package and Shudda Guggulu are useful. Classical medicines like DhanaDhanayanadi Kashayam and Kaidaryadi Kashayam can be taken in 30 ml twice a day before taking food.

In Ayurveda, Panchakarma treatments like Massage, ShastikaShaliPindaSweda (Rice Treatment) is beneficial along with Nasya Karma is very important.
