 The aloe Vera gel can be used both internally & externally. Obtained from pulp mills that contains about 200 biologically active substances that can be broken down into the following groups- Vitamins - Antioxidants, D & B12 Minerals - Trace Enzymes - Several different types Sugars - the immune system & detoxification Anthraquinones - gastrointestinal absorption, pain relief, antibacterial, antiviral. Lignin - Help other constituents to penetrate the skin. saponin - soapy substance, cleaning, anti bacterial microbial Salicylic acid - Aspirin like, anti-inflammatory Fatty acids - Anti inflammatory Some believe it is the synergistic effect of components is what makes the gel so effective. The gel is rapidly degraded so it is important to use gel or a new herb or 1 that has been preserved without degrading processing. Externally it can be used as a basis for wounds, burns, softening, UV protection, regeneration, hydration & facial & aromatherapy products especially during periods of difficulty & oily. After washing & toning the face, which can then massage cold aloe Vera gel for now, after deleting the excess. The cold also helps to close pores. You can use as a light moisturizer base through the addition of selected essential oils. You can keep small amounts at room temperature, such as aloe is an oil & essential oils do not mix easily. Shake it up before use. Can also be used as an after-sun treatment with selected essential oils added.
