Para Thyroid gland Adenoma (Tumer) 
Namaste Guru Ji,
I live in Australia and I have been diagnosed by Parathyroid Adenoma and my Calcium is increase day by day and as per doctors it is life threatening. Can you please tell me if this can be cured by yoga or I will have to go for surgery. Seeking your advice. If it is curable by yoga please suggest which Prayanam or yoga can help me.

Hello, A parathyroid adenoma is a noncancerous tumor of the parathyroid glands located at neck region. The main cause of parathyroid adenoma is hyperparathyroidism which lead to increased blood calcium levels. PTH variations may hamper calcium, phosphorous, and vitamin D levels variation. The associated symptoms like constipation, renal stones, lethargy, confusion, brittle bones, or nausea etc. Hence, Surgery is advised or in few cases estrogen replacement can prevent bone loss in postmenopausal women. In order to prevent complications you can follow doctor’s suggestion. In order to maintain healthy lifestyle one can do Yogasanas and pranayama, and even to control the progress of disease. We suggest not depend only with yoga and pranayama. Consuming few ayurvedic medicines may also help to control the condition, however personal consultation with physician is indicated.
