PCOD and weight Problem 
Dear Swami Ji,
I have been suffering from PCOD since last 3 years. I tried with all the allopathic and homeopathic treatments but no effect. I have put on 20 kgs in the last 3 years due to heavy body i can not be very active and feel tired very soon.I dont get menses without medicine January.Please advice me what all pranayam and yoga Should I do or which ayurvedic medicine should I take.
I do cycling for 5km in a day and yoga (kapalbati , anulom vilom) for 4 days in a week at least. while doing kapalbhati i get very bad back pain .
kindly suggest me how to do it in a right way.

Expert's Advice:- Hello, As you mentioned that you are having the history of PCOD since 3 years, that may be affecting your menstruation or irregular menstruation. Due to hormonal imbalances, there may be weight gaining in you. Mainly there will be problems like High levels of androgens or hormonal imbalances. Missed or irregular periods. Many small cysts in their ovaries or surrounding the ovaries. There many reasons like irregular food habits, improper hygiene, life style difficulties, emotional factors like stress and strain may be a reason. Diet must be balanced and avoid food items like oily, spicy, sour etc. Fibre-rich foods, more fruits and vegetables, garlic, legumes and whole grains, or follow a vegetarian diet. As you want to reduce weight, you need to reduce the quantity of food at night times. If PCOD gets under control, then automatically your weight problem also will get solved. Suggested Yogasanas: Sarvagasana, Matsyasana, Ardhmatsyendrasana, Paschimottanasana, Surya namaskar, Ushtrasana and all backward bending asana are recommended but they should be try under the supervision of an expert. Suggested medicines: M2-tone, and Shatavari and Evecare can be taken. Panchkarma treatments: Udwarthanam(powder massage) for reducing weight and excess sedimented fats.
