Hello,

Due to less immunity power in your body, you may be getting allergic bronchitis and wheezing which is aggravating on exposure with cold. This can be varied from person to person. In your case, as you stated, this is due to long term exposure to cold climate.

With the help of alternative therapies and complimentary medicines, you can maintain and improve immunity power which helps to fight against diseases and allergies. Yoga and pranayama are very helpful for this condition. If you develop proper breathing patterns, this will be well managed and you can gain proper resistance power.

Avoid consuming allergic foods, which may lead to wheezing, like consuming brinjal, spicy foods, oily foods, etc. Consume fibre rich food and vegetables, green leafy vegetables.

Practice yoga and pranayama regularly. Yoga helps to increase the capacity and efficiency of breathing. Anuloma-viloma pranayama is also very useful. There are certain home remedies too, which can be applied wherever necessary. Like using onion juice 5 ml with ½ tsp of honey is useful.

Ayurveda medicines for bronchial asthma are Swasari Ras and using Vasavaleh are useful.

For more doubts, you can contact us.

With regards, Dr.Vijay.
