Put on a weight. this question feed

jay shri krishna, baba, I'm 23 yrs old but my weight is only 48.I'm leaving in london. i want to put on a weight but i can't. i'd try so many times. but i can,t so which way i can put my weight put on. please help me. Thank you.

Hello sir,

It is easier to gain weight than to reduce weight. In your case, it is possible if you don’t have any associated complaints like hyperacidity or other systemic illnesses like hypertension, or thyroid problem etc.

In ayurveda, we follow Dosha concepts where we can assess the constituency of a person. According to that we can treat a patient.

So, we start from root level. In your case you need to enhance the process of digestion and appetite as well. After digestion there should be proper assimilation up to cellular level. Overall, we need to rectify your digestive system.

So we suggest you to maintain proper appetite and digestion if you have any irregularities, accordingly try to change lifestyle. As per science, you need to have bulk breakfast in large quantity in order to maintain basal metabolic rate or BMI.

Hence you need to follow high-calorie based food and fiber rich food. Milk products or diary products, vegetables, and fruit diet, meat etc are very helpful. We do have many ayurvedic medicine to maintain health and to gain weight. Herbal medicines like Ashwagandha, vidhari, shatavari etc are helpful and the medicines containing these herbs can be taken and the list will be given below.

To maintain proper energy levels you can to regular exercise and yoga and pranayama regularly. If you are non-vegetarian, then you can consume soaps.

Use ashavgandha and shatavri in same amount and take it 1spoon ful with some warm milk at morning and evening. Also take a tonic for proper digestion. Do some yogaasnas and pranayams. Its easy.
