Regarding Lungs infection

Sir My father is 60 years old and he has been suffering from Mysthenia Gravis. He has been operated named Thymoctomey. this is part of treatment of MG. after operation and also before operation he was taking steriod. After operation doctor increased her steriod doases from 10 mg to 60 mg within 6 months. During this, period a lungs inection (Bacterial and fungal) was devoleped and he admitted in hospital. In hospital doctor started decreases her steriorid within 3 months and now this time he has left steriod. Now he takes 2 tablet of gravitor, 2 tab azoran 50 mg, 2 tab septran and calcium. but he feels evry time some cough and cold. doctor tols there is some remain infection, but this infection is not going completely. i want to start Ayurvedic medicines. Is it benifical to removation of infection. plz suggest me with some medicines.
