Hello, Grey patches with itching in legs and ankles is mainly due to skin allergies and due to certain infections of bacterial or fungal origin. Without proper diagnosis we cannot cure it completely. However, in ayurveda we do have concept that any kind of skin complaint is due to vitiation of blood. Hence your blood has to be purified. If there is any kind of stress or anxiety that has to be rectified as this may aggravate the problem. With the help of alternative therapies and yoga and pranayama, one can manage the skin complaints. Following healthy diet is very important and one has to avoid spicy food and oily foods. There are internal and external medicines for the same problem. External applications like using coconut oil, sunbath, sandalwood paste applications, cabbage leaf applications, mudpacks, applying turmeric powder etc are useful. Avoid brinjal, ground nuts, non-vegetarian food. Using Medicine package for Eczema is useful for this complaint. Follow regular yoga and meditation for betterment.
