Suffering Athretis (vadam) 
Hi, This is relating to my mother whos age is 54, Last year for 6 months have taken ayurveda medicine for bones, as at the time of summer bones of hand and leg get cold and the right knee while sitting on the ground and getting up get pains on the knee due to this she has complete her yoga course and use to do all the pranayam but due to the pains in the knee she has stop doing the Yoga , she is a vegeterian and neither use oily foood and spicy also . What do you recommend for the pains.

If there is any Panchakarma center than you can take treatment there. The tretment is sarvang abhyanga with patra pind sweda and for knee joint pain janu basti is required. Oil for massage, is bala oil mix with tila oil.For janu basti you can take same oil.another this treatment there is one basti the name is matra basti also take . posted by gaurav mishra on 27 January 2010 14:22

For pains in her knees, firstly if she is overweight? then redue weight, only dthen ny medicine will work. If her weight is iin normal range , then we recommend you to take Divya Amavatari Ras- 1 to 2 grams with lukewarm water daily after lunch. Divya Pidantak Taila- Gently massage with a small pressure over the affected area for 4-5 minutes. Aloevera Juice- Drink 5-6 teaspoonful as soon as you wake up in the morning and drink luke warm water on top. Himalaya Rumalaya Forte- 2 tablets after lunch and after dinner with luke warm water.
