Suffering from hydrocele

Hydrocele is a fluid-filled sack along the spermatic cord within the scrotum, it may happen from birth or due to trauma in adults or children. From the abdomen these testicles descend down with a tube into scrotum, when the tube fails to close may lead to hydroceles. When the fluid builds up in the scrotum, that becomes trapped so that scrotum become swollen. In few cases it may associate with hernias.

In few cases this may happen due to trauma and infections.

Though hydroceles are painless, this affects lifestyle.

In allopath, only aspiration of fluid or surgical intervention is treatments such as hyerocelectomy.

By adopting healthy lifestyle and proper balanced diet, and with the help of Indian medicines such as ayurveda, homeopathy, siddha medicines and yoga and pranayama are very helpful.

To reduce generalized swellings or water retentions, one should follow diet such as grapes, oranges, lemon juice etc are useful.

Aloevera, Amla, Turmeric, Triphala are useful.

Avoiding strenuous exercises is important.

Simple Anulomaviloma Pranayama and Vajrasana are very helpful.

Medicnes like Kanchanara guggulu, Punarnavarishtam, and for local application Dashangalepam is used.

Consuming Vriddivadhika Vati is also very helpful.

Panchakarma treatment: Virechana karma is indicated.
