Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Tinnitus is seen before the onset of hearing loss. It could be due to conductive or sensorineural hearing loss. As you have mentioned with a weakness of the nerves, it suggests sensori-neural hearing loss. Please let me know the audiometry results to guide you further.

Ayurvedic medicines like Divya Shilajeet Rasayan Vati,Aswagandha churnam and Divya Sarivadi Vati can be used for a month and review.

Ayurvedic treatments like Nasyam can be done with Anu thailam and Karna puranam which can done with asana vilvadi thailam and head massage will be beneficial.

Include broccoli, olive oil, avocados, green tea, whole grains, garlic, pomegranate, cinnamon, coriander, turmeric and ghee. Reduce excess caffeine, spicy foods, canned foods, sweets, oil and salt. Regular exercise, yogasanas, rest, avoiding exposure to loud noises and pranayamam will be beneficial.

Hello, Tinnitus is different types of sounds heard over long term of time. Ayurveda refers it as karnanada where karna means ears and nada means sounds whereas karnakshweda refers to unnatural sounds heard by patient only. Vitiated vata dosha enter the ear pathways resulting in heard sound known as tinnitus. Ayurveda recommendations for tinnitus are as follows- 1.Sarivadi vati-2 tablets thrice a day with luke warm water after meals. 2.saptamrita lauha-250 ml in luke warm water after meals thrice a day nourishes the nerves and strengthen the same. 3.Balaristha-30ml in equal amount of water twice a day after meals. 4.Ashwagandhadi kwath-30ml in equal amount of water after meals twice a day. Nasya with shadbindu tail and anu tailum should be given to pacify the vata dosha. Kavaal dharna with ashwagandha oil or bala oil should be done twice a day. Paranayam like bhastrika and bhramri should be practiced to strengthen the nerve. But if complete damage of nerve has occured repair would be slow or not possible.
