Expert's Advice:- Hello, Height growth depends up on age, gender, hereditary factors. There is physiological changes depending up on age, there are growth spurts, in a life stages like infancy, puberty, and adolescence. As your age is 28 years, there are certain limitations and it will become slow process of height growth. As growth plates in the ends of long bones namely arms and legs are soft and the length can be increased till puberty, after puberty these growth plates gets solidify, after solidifying, the height growth seizes. However, you can depend up on balanced diet and nutritious foods, which may help to gain height. Food must include sufficient amounts of Vitamin D to help absorb Calcium in making bones and its growth. Vertical-Extension exercises useful such as playing basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, pull-ups etc. There are few yoga poses which helps to increase height is very useful, examples are Chakrasana, Sarvanagasanam, Padahastasan, Paschimottanasan, Chakrasana, Sasangasana, Ardha chakrasana, Ustrasana etc are recommended.
