Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

High level of uric acid causes gout and factors like obesity increases the risk. It is better to have uric acid less than 6mg/dl or 7mg/dl which is considered normal. Pain or swelling will be seen in great toe, fingers, elbow and knees. The uric acid crystals causes pain with inflammation. Ayurvedic medicines can be taken for a month which will help to reduce the pain.

Gout Ayurvedic medicines can be taken for a month and then reviewed.

Include coriander, barley, turmeric, bottle gourd and gokshuram. Reduce high protein foods, high purine foods like cauliflower, mushroom, meat, chicken, organ meats, yeast, peas, fish, spinach, sugar and oil. Drink more water to flush the excess uric acid. Try to control the weight. Try to eat meals at regular times than skipping meals. Please do have regular checkups.
