Hello,

Prolapsed piles are due to weak anal sphincters and prolapse do occur due to chronic constipation or irregular bowel habits which has to be analyzed properly. If she is suffering from irregular bowel habits, that should be corrected in time. Usually, depending on the severity, prolapsed piles or also called as hemorrhoids are graded into 4 while first degree is mild and fourth degree is severe. If she is suffering from fourth degree, she may need surgery or else, it can be managed with ayurvedic medicines and lifestyle modifications, and other alternative medicines are helpful along with yoga and pranayama. There are panchkarma procedure which may help and other therapies like Sitz bath with Triphala Churna which is very effective. Ask her to avoid the foods that may cause constipation or gastric irritation. Avoid consuming oily foods, spicy foods, and as mentioned, avoid gas forming foods. Following medicines are helpful, Arshonyt Forte, Avipattikar Choorna, Divya Amla Juice are helpful. Pranayama and Yoga are helpful.

With regards, Dr.Vijay.
