Triphala churna this question feed

asked by viju on 25 October 2010 9:49

I have been taking triphala churna for the last three weeks, 5 gms at bed time. I am suffering from gastric disorder and it smells very badly. Quite embarassing when in public. Can you advice if it is because of this churna intake and what should I do.

Hello,

Due to irregular food habits and due to indigestion, there may be chances of flatulence and gastric related complaints. If there is consumption of excess spicy foods, and if you are not following proper timings of food intake, there may be chances of flatulence.

Triphala Churna infact helps for proper stool formation and relieves constipation and flatulence. Since you are not happy with triphala Churna, you can consume this with other medicines.

You can also consume other medicines along with Triphala Churna to get good results. You can follow regular diet and avoid consuming oily foods, spicy foods, and sour foods.

Consume Amlaki, Divya Avipattikar Choorna should be consumed weekly once about 5 gm at bed time with warm water for a week and consume Gaisantak tablets daily twice one tablet.

Consume plenty of lukewarm water and frequently in smaller quantities.

Udarkalp Choorna can be consumed with warm water before lunch and half an hour before dinner. Quantity will be 1tsp.

For more details, you can contact us.

With regards, Dr.Vijay.
