Expert's Advice:- Hello, Urethral stricture is an abnormal narrowing urethra or a tube that carries urine out of the body from the bladder. There are many causes such inflammation or scar tissue due to surgery, or injuries, sometimes due to any external pressure effects like tumor etc. In few cases this may occur due to history of sexually transmitted disease, catheter or cystoscope insertion, urethritis, or even it may be congenital. There will be multiple symptoms such as bloody urine, or semen with blood, burning micturation or difficulty in urination, urinary incontinence, dysuria, pain abdomen etc are main symptoms. In order to reduce the symptoms, and stricture urethra, there are certain ayurvedic medicines which are helpful. These Indian system of medicines are very useful to prevent the symptoms and to reduce the condition. However, you can follow strict diet which is very helpful, avoid spicy and oily foods. Application of sandalwood paste below the umbilicus is also helpful. Ayurvedic medicines such as Vrikkdoshar Vati, and Gokshuradi Guggulu, Chandraprabha vati are useful medicines.
