Uses of Giloy or Guduchi 

GUDUCHI:

Guduchi is commonly called as Giloaya in India. Giloya or Guduchi is having its own significance on treating various illnesses and it is broadly used for flu and all types of fever, as it helps to boost immunity power.

According to classics and depending up on place of availability Guduchi is of two types such as Guduchi and the one which is available at forest. However, the actions are similar and the later one is having low efficacy.

Botanical name: Tinospora cordifolia and forest variety is Tinospora malabarica

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES:

The useful part of Guduchi is stem. The Plant pacifies vitiated vata and pitta doshas, any kind of heat or burning sensation, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiac debility, fever, skin disease, anemia, cough, jaundice, oligospermia and urinary system diseases, to boost immunity etc are the properties of Guduchi.

Giloy is having Hepatoportective, Immunosuppressive properties, and acts as antipyretic property.
