Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-


NAMES Botanical name : *Ferula asafoetida Linn * Sanskrit: Hingu English : Asafoetida Hindi : Hing Malayalam : Kayam, Palkayam, Karikkayam, Perumkayam

Hing is used as home remedy for various ailments: Example: If there is colic pain, you can consume purified asafoetida 4 pinch in one teaspoon of warm melted ghee and consume with warm water will relieve colic pain, flatulence related pain instantly.

Medicines containing asafoetida are multiple, there are more formulations and examples goes like this Hinguvadi churna, Hinguvasthaka churnam, Mukkamukkatuvadi gutika, Lakshminarayana rasa, Marma gutika, Rajahpravartini vati, Shankh vati, Lasunadi ghrita Madhumalini basant, Tribhuvankirti Rasa, Maha yogaraj guggulu, Brahmi vati, Brihat phal ghrita, Chitrakadi gutika etc are useful medicines. Divya Hing Goli is useful medicine for digestive disorders.
