Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Hello, Abrupt weight gain and pimple development in reproductive age is usually associated with poly-cystic ovarian syndrome where the hormonal levels controlled by hypothalamus and pituitary axis are highly altered thereby leading to acne formation, dark skin patches and abnormal periods along with weight changes. It is advisable to visit nearest gynecologist and undergo complete screening including ultrasonography and other blood tests. Ayurvedic medicines recommended are as follows- 1.Medohar vati- 2 tablets twice a day with luke warm water after meals. 2. Triphala guggul- 2 tablets twice a day after meals with luke warm water. After intake of above two medicines, the metabolism speed up making you feel comparatively more hungry. For pimple apply neem pack locally. Add mahanimbadi kwath in dose of 30 ml in equal amount of water twice a day after meals. In panchkarma the medohar basti is administered with ashwagandha kwath and shigru kwath. In yoga, practice ujjayi pranayama daily along with asans like sarwangasan, gomukhasan, makrasan, bhujangasan, matsyendra asan, usthtrasan, ardhchandrasan, sinhasan.
