Expert's Advice:- Hello, Due to imbalance in hormones, diet modifications, sedentary lifestyle, and other factors like and existed disease such as diabetes, hyper cholesterol, or hypertension may also lead to overweight or obesity. In your case, after delivery you may put on weight due to hormonal imbalance. In order to prevent over weight, you need to work out in terms of diet and in terms of exercises. You may depend on alternative therapies like ayurveda, siddha, and other therapies along with yoga and pranayama, which are very helpful. You need to follow balanced diet and follow proper timings of food intake, this will be help you a lot. Following proper diet and timings of food intake is important. Avoid consuming excess junk foods, greesy foods, excess calorie intake. Practice consuming leafy vegetables, fibre rich food, vegetables like carrot, cabbage, bitter gourd, apple juice, water melon, fruit salads etc. Yoga poses are very helpful like regular practice of Sarvanagasana, surya namaskar, anuloma viloma pranayama are very helpful. Triphala churnam can be consumed in morning empty stomach with warm water, also it can be consumed with other drugs. Ayurvedic medicines for over weight are like Divya Medohar Vati and Ayurslim and you can use Amla Juice and Aloevera Honey in different timings is very helpful.
