My son is only 12 years old,now suffering from retinitis pigmentosa,a vision loss disease. It started with the loss of night vision and slowly lead to the blindness due to abnormalities of the photoreceptors(primarily the rods) in the retina. Doctor speculating complete blindness. This is the degenerative disease of photoreceptor cells known as rodes and cones, of retina and it is a inherited disease. Patient goes into night blindness then tunnel vision and slowly progresses towards blindness. There is no sure treatment for retinitis pigmentosa. We recommend you to regular pranayams and yogasnas.
