I am 24 years old female. Doctor diagnosed me with left ovary dermoid cyst of 5.4 * 4.8 cm in ultrasound. Doctor told me for surgery. But I don't want to do that. I started doing Kapalbhati and anlom Vilom and walk. Please suggest me ayurvedic medicines also for dermoid cyst. Also tell me the impact of dermoid cyst on pregnancy. Expert's Advice (Dr.Ramani):- Dermoid cyst less than 5cm does not cause problems during pregnancy or to conceive. Please do have regular checkups with your consulting gynecologist. Hello Doctor, I have Left dermoid ovarian cyst 4 cm now (was 2 in July last year), and we are planning to have a baby.. Would you recommend cut it out or try ayurvedic treatment for it? I also have 2 cm fluid cyst (not dermoid) on the right (appeared during last 2 months). I also have polyp in gallbladder 4 mm found it out last July. What treatment would you recommend? Expert's Advice (Dr.Ramani):- Dermoid cysts are that which may contain hair, teeth as it is formed from the egg cells. They tend to grow slowly. As it grows, it increases the risk of ovarian torsion or rupture. It is treated based on the size. So it is better to discuss with your gynecologist before planning for pregnancy.
