Anemia natural remedies this question feed

I have anemia and low iron in my blood. The quantity of red blood cells (RBC) have decreased and white blood cells (WBC) have increased. I feel very weak and thin. My complexion is yellowish. I have an itching sensation and feels dizzy. I have been also suffering from stomach and heat problems for a long time.

My skin is lusterless, muscles are stiff, heartbeats increases and nerves system is weak. I also feel that I have lost appetite and feels nausea. Often, hands and legs are numb.

Precautions for anemia patient

  • Always give simple, easily digestible and nutritious food to the patient.

  • Avoid substances such as addiction to alcohol, betel nut and tobacco.

  • The patient must sleep for 8 hours at least.

  • Avoid excessive physical labor or mental stress.

Yogic remedies for anemia

Complete recovery is only possible with the help of light yoga asanas, shithilikaran of body and mind, and eating good food (with iron, vitamin A and C).

  • Do kunjal once a week. If you get benefits, you can repeat it. If your stomach does not remain clear, cleanse it with a light enema.

  • Do sunbath, massage oil and rub well while bathing. This is the main treatment for anemia. During summers, have bath with cool fresh water twice a day.

  • Have feet hot bath and apply hot and cold compress on the stomach to Improve digestion.

  • Yog-Nidra Practice daily and keep the body calm. This gives complete relaxation to the body.

  • Do light and regular practice of Pashimottanasan, Ardhamatsyadreyasan, Suptabrajasan, Shalbhasan, Dhanurasan, Makarasan and Sarvagasan. Gradually, you can include other asanas too.

In Pranayams, do Nadi-Shodhan, Ujjay and Chandrabhedi pranayam.

Food organizatino for anemia patient

  • Twice a day, take 100 ml of spinach juice with 1 teaspoon honey.

  • If you have carrots then take 200 ml of carrot juice, tomatoes and pudding once a day.

  • Mix 2 tablespoons amala juice, 4 tablespoons of water and ½ teaspoon of honey and this half hour before meals.

  • Mix Steam moong sprouts, carrot, tomato, cabbage and onions and have with your meal. Also have 250 ml milk, boiled green cardamom (Choti Elaichi) and a little paneer. According to the hunger, eat fruit or vegetables as well. Do not overeat.

  • Spinach in different forms such as palak paneer (spinach with paneer), palak potato , dal palak (with dal or pulses), and so should take 3-4 times a week.

  • For the sweet, use jaggery Gur, Gur has high iron content.

  • During the mango season, take no food at night and istead suck 2/3 mangoes with cold milk. This also helps produce red blood cells. Anemia heals quickly when you make a fruit and milk diet.

Anemia is very common in females. Anemia means low hemoglobin level. In other words the low level of red blood cells or RBCs in blood is called anemia. Anemia is caused by many reasons. The most common signs and symptoms of anemia are pallor or pale yellow coloration of skin, general body weakness, unexplained pains in legs and body, breathlessness, tachycardia, restlessness and many more. In allopathic medicines generally folic acid, ferrous and vitamins are given to help in increasing hemoglobin level. As in Ayurveda we recommend you to start with divya swarn makshik bhasma and divya loki juice together twice a day after meals. These medicines can be taken along with allopathic medicines and are good for increasing RBCs. These are also great general health boosters. A homemade light nutritional diet and timely medication cures anemia very fast. We recommend you to keep the medicinal course regular and practice pranayamas to stay fit and active. Diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables is very good for anemia patient. Complete rest will help in speedy recovery. Blood transfusion is performed in emergency situations.
