Eyes are very important sensory organs and this fact is explained in ayurvedic science. As it is very important vital organ of the body, it should be taken care. The proper care in ayurveda is explained well in “dinacharya”, that day-to-day activities are explained in which eye care is explained. Application of collyrium is well explained in ayurveda to improve vision and to prevent eye related disorders. Ayurvedic medicines are very helpful and used for internal and external usage. The best ayurvedic medicine is triphala which is used for eye wash and even for internal. Application of collyrium with the help of herbal medicines which are helpful for improving vision. The individuals those who work long term in front of computers and those who undergo stress, they can use regular ayurvedic medicines for improving vision and prevent eye diseases. One should follow regular balanced diet and should consume green leafy vegetables to compensate vitamin deficiencies if any. Regular yoga and pranayama can be done for maintaining health. Trataka kriya, that is candle light treatment is also very important. Ayurvedic medicines are very important when consumed for long term. Nobody wants specs and specially children. It is a sign of weakness and also creates problems in their games. But at this age the recovery in vision is good. Give him good diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables. Green leafy vegetables are very good for your baby. Avoid watching TV, computer and high intensity lights. Regular use of Netra jyoti is very good to improve vision and remove spectacles. Amla churna is also very good foe eyes.
